- Whisk the milk, cream, eggs, sugar and vanilla in a bowl until blended. Pour the milk mixture over the bread and press down to soak squares. Sprinkle top with cinnamon sugar. Leave to stand for 5 minutes.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until set and golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla custard.
