  1. Make ready 500 gms Soybean seeds
  2. Get 1 cup Vinegar
Steps to make Soya Paneer (Tofu):
  1. Wash the soybean to remove damaged ones/stones/dust and soak them in 8 cups of water for 8-20 hours.
  2. Grind the soybean into a thick paste along with all the water used for soaking.
  3. Boil 8 cups of water and add the paste to it. Warm the mixture for 8 minutes, gently stirring to avoid burning and removing the froth on the surface.
  4. With the muslin cloth and a sieve, separate the soymilk from the solid fibrous part of the paste.
  5. Add a cup of vinegar and allow it for curdling and keep it warm on low flame till curdling occurs.
  6. With the help of the muslin cloth, separate the liquid from the coagulated/curdled part.
  7. Tie all the edges of the muslin cloth from the top to prevent the curd from spilling and press it with a heavy object in a container with the holes for the escape of the excess water. Allow the tofu to settle and solidify within the muslin cloth for 20 minutes.
