- In a dutch oven, heat oil over medium low heat and cook vegetables until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add kielbasa and cook 3 more minutes. Add garlic and stir constantly for 30 seconds.
- Add in seasoning, hot sauce and pepper flakes, chicken broth, water, and crushed tomatoes. Bring the whole mixture to a boil and add the rice and bay leaves. Let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir, cover, and let cook another 10 minutes or until rice is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
