- First quickly blanch the spinach and grind it with garlic, ginger and green chilli without using any water to a smooth paste.
- Now combine this palak puree with Maize flour(makke ka atta), chopped onion, boiled & grated potatoes, salt, heeng, red chilli powder and chat masala powder. Mix well to form a smooth dough.
- Make 6-8 thin tikkis (make thinner than normal tikki so that flour is cooked properly and it becomes crisp).
- Heat oil in a pan, cook tikkis on medium flame till golden brown and crisp from both the sides. Enjoy hot with ketchup and a cup of hot tea!
